I'm moving my cruise control hardware to de-junkify my engine bay. I remember reading that someone replaced the hose between the motor/actuator/whatever and the diaphragm, but I can't seem to remove the hose with moderate effort and don't want to destroy it. It slides right off the electronic side, but on the diaphragm side it doesn't want to pull off or rotate. Since it extends into the housing I can't see how it connects or run anything narrow around the end. Can someone confirm that it just slides off? Or, does the diaphragm come apart somehow (doesn't seem to as the only screws are for the bracket)?
